About Lobsterfest
The Southold Greenport Lobsterfest is a beloved annual event held on the North Fork of Long Island, organized by the Rotary Clubs of Southold and Greenport. This community-focused event is one of the most popular summer activities in the area, drawing hundreds of attendees each year.
The 2024 Lobsterfest will take place on Saturday, July 27th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Veterans Beach in Mattituck. The event features a delightful menu where guests can choose between a lobster or steak dinner, accompanied by side dishes such as steamed mussels, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and watermelon. For those attending with children, there are options like hamburgers and hot dogs.
In addition to the delicious food, the Lobsterfest offers live music, making it a perfect evening for dining and dancing under the stars. This year, the Linden Farm All Star Band will provide entertainment. The event also includes a cash bar with a selection of wine, beer, and soft drinks.
One of the key aspects of the Lobsterfest is its role as a fundraiser. Proceeds from ticket sales support various community service projects benefiting both Southold and Greenport. This makes attending the Lobsterfest not only a fun and enjoyable experience but also an opportunity to contribute to the local community.
